For those who truly understand and appreciate the artistry of Burgundy, this dinner is an opportunity rarely presented outside of the most elite wine circles.
The Prestige & Rarity of Domaine Leflaive and DRC
. . . . . . . . .
Domaine Leflaive – The Benchmark of White Burgundy
Founded in 1717, Domaine Leflaive has become synonymous with Puligny-Montrachet and is widely regarded as producing some of the finest Chardonnay in the world. The estate’s commitment to biodynamic farming, meticulous winemaking, and a philosophy of terroir-driven purity makes its wines both collectible and deeply expressive.
"Domaine Leflaive is not only one of Burgundy's greatest estates, but one of the finest white wine producers in the world. Their wines balance precision, minerality, and age-worthy complexity in a way few can rival."
— Wine Spectator
The domaine’s Grand Cru bottlings, such as Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, and Chevalier-Montrachet, are produced in exceptionally small quantities, making them sought after by collectors and nearly impossible to acquire outside of private cellars and select allocations.
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) – The Most Coveted Wine on Earth
No wine estate in the world carries the mystique and reverence of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Often referred to simply as DRC, the domaine’s monopole vineyards produce the most sought-after Pinot Noirs in existence.
"If ever there was a wine that transcends mere consumption and enters the realm of art, it is Domaine de la Romanée-Conti."
— Decanter Magazine
With some vineyards dating back to Roman times, DRC's holdings include La Tâche, Richebourg, and Romanée-Saint-Vivant, culminating in its most legendary vineyard, Romanée-Conti itself—often considered the Holy Grail of wine. Due to the domaine’s strict production limits and exclusivity of allocation, acquiring these bottles requires deep industry connections or a place on an elite waiting list that can take decades to access.
"For many, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is not just the best Burgundy—it is the best wine in the world."
— Wine Advocate
